Superintendent’s Message

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to Graham-Dustin School District. I am CJ Buesser, and I proudly serve our community as your Superintendent. My journey in education began right here in Oklahoma, graduating from Caney Valley High School in 2002 before earning my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University in 2006. Later, I furthered my commitment to educational leadership by obtaining a Master of Education in School Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2015, equipping me with the knowledge and experience necessary to help lead our district forward.

My connection to this school community runs deep, dating back to the former Dustin Public School where I was first hired in the spring of 2007. Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving in many roles—from physical education teacher and coach to teaching Title I, Geography, Science, computers, and drivers education. This varied experience across grade levels and subjects gives me a comprehensive understanding of our students' needs and the dedicated work of our staff. Since the consolidation in 2013, I have remained committed to providing a supportive, challenging, and excellent educational environment for every child in our district.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children's future.

Warm regards,
CJ Buesser
